The Coordination Team

What is the Coordination Team?

The coordination team is the central hub of CA Youth Vs Big Oil that organizes the coalition. Youth representatives from across California meet weekly virtually to strategize about CA Youth Vs Big Oil campaigns, projects, and actions, and provide logistical support for the network.

The coordination team is made up of CA Youth Vs Big Oil coordinators, who are youth climate justice advocates working to further CA Youth Vs Big Oil’s Stop, Drop, and Roll demands. Coordinators participate in CA Youth Vs Big Oil by attending meetings and taking on projects and leadership roles on a volunteer basis. We share our coalition strategies at weekly meetings and communicate over Discord. Most of our current coordinators range from high school to college-age, and we are always looking for new coordinators that are excited to get involved!
